We have some sad news to announce. A short time ago, Second Line Jazzband’s trumpeter Jesper Albrektsson suffered a stroke. After initial care at Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg, he is now in a rehab ward for stroke patients. The situation is stable but he has a long and difficult road to walk to get back on his feet again. In terms of time, it is currently completely impossible to determine how long this may take.
So far, however, we have found a long-term substitute for Jesper in none other than the phenomenal trumpeter Klas Nilsson. We are incredibly happy and grateful for that.
